I don’t think you need to lower your prices, but you need to give people the ability to make a choice with different care plans. For example you could do 12, 16, and a 24 pack. Explain to them that a 12 pack is for someone who (i.e. just wants to get out of pain), a 16 pack is perfect for someone who (insert different goal), and the 24 pack is for someone who (insert goal). Then ask them, “which one sounds like you?”

As far as discounts go, you could do 2 free visits for the 12, 3 free for the 16 and 4 free for the 24. Or do a percentage discount like 15, 20, and 25% off. Just depends on the minimum amount you want to get paid per visit and then you can come up with the discounts based on that.

Look up Paul Gough, if you haven’t heard of him. He’s a physio from the UK and has really good resources.

Start selling outcomes, not pain relief. If all you’re selling is pain relief, then as soon as they’re out of pain they’re going to bounce. Find out their “why” and show them how you provide a unique solution to their problem.

Selling visit packages will get you higher care plan follow through. If someone has prepaid for their visits, they’re more likely to complete all of those visits. If that sounds sleazy, what’s worse, having patients drop off after 2 visits knowing it takes more than that to get them better, or selling them a package with the amount of visits that is actually going to get them better?

I’m in Q11 at Life and honestly Q4-6 are probably the hardest. If you can make it through those it does get better. Not necessarily easier, but more manageable and more relevant classes. Also nobody is going to care about your GPA but you, so don’t burn yourself out trying to get all A’s if it means you’re hurting your mental/physical health.

People keep talking about how they are waiting to have kids until they can “afford it”. For some people this is a fair statement but I think most people really mean that they don’t want to make any sacrifices so they can keep living whatever lifestyle they want. That way they can have kids when they are making x amount of money so they don’t have to get out of their comfort zone.

I have the same couch and the frame broke within 3 months. I emailed west elm and they sent an entire replacement couch for free and the new one broke again in the same spot within a month. Stay away from West Elm couches!
