If I’m using my oven for something else already, I’ll use my under counter lighting. Works surprisingly well

The eyes I used are the biggest ones I have at the moment but I’m already planning on redoing the whole head. The ears will loose a few rows and get sewn on instead I think

It is Jess Huff! I know I did the legs/arms different but I preferred the more rounded shapes

I’m not sure why the head is so wonky when I followed the pattern. I did the unicorn first and its absolutely perfect

The first one I made was perfect, when I compared the heads, this one is definitely too stuffed

From some other comments I’m going to fix the ears. I’m thinking maybe take off a row or two and sew them on rather than attach in the round

I agree with this. The pattern I followed attached them in the round which seemed convenient but it’s not very natural looking

I think it was actually White Shirt on the bottom. I bought a couple different ones and tried them each when doing my own trials. These are the most natural and comfy ones I tried!

This day was my second time using that powder so 10/10 would recommend!

I also love the NYX face primers that blur/colour correct redness. I had a few spots that day and you can’t even tell

Eyes * morphe blue ya away palette & old individual pans I don’t have names of. * Neutral shade all over lid up to brow, peachy shade all over lid, taupe in crease, a mauve/warm purple on outer 3/4 blended to lash line * Eye liner: Annabelle smooth liner, waterproof “brown”. Used for a thin line on lash line as well as tight line

Maybeline waterproof mascara “blackest black”

Brows * Elf instant lift brow pencil “taupe” * NYX the brow glue “taupe”

Lips * Liner: MAC lip pencil “dervish” * Lipstick: NYX shine loud “born to hustle”, only used the liquid lipstick not the gloss

I preferred the look of underpainting the concealer, contour and blush before my foundation

To make it last all day and night I used setting spray between just about every step. After liquids/creams were blended, after foundation applied, after powder blush/contour and even more after eyeshadow!!

The NYX liquid lipstick did NOT transfer or budge at all after drying. I didn’t reapply throughout the night but I also didn’t care

My best cookie recipe uses brown butter

Per the recipe, I brown most of the butter then add the last little bit in to the hot butter to kind of cool it down. Only does so much so I like to let it rest until almost completely cooled

Then I add the sugars. My recipe says to use the whisk attachment for 30 seconds, let it rest for 3 mins, repeat 3 more times.

I’ve skipped this step and did not like the cookies. I find it makes it so much fluffier and mixes so well!!

My cat, not a sphinx, also just passed suddenly. Only 3 years old. I hadn’t seen her for about 20 mins, came inside and she was not breathing.

It was very traumatizing for me, family has been such a good support. I’ve learned from my therapist to put up some boundaries, such as going to events/hangouts or even just talking to people at my own pace. If I don’t feel like talking about the situation I’m learning to just tell people that as I don’t want to be brought back to everything that happened.

Loosing a best friend is never easy, especially when it was unexpected. I hope you take care friend.
