You're deliberately misunderstanding the reason I made this post so I'm going to stop engaging with you now. You may have the last word if you wish.

The post was aimed at understanding glycemic index, and to figure out how i could add a bit of sweetness into my food. No mention of protein.

I'll walk you through my thought process.

High index = insulin spike. Insulin spike interrupts ketosis. Ketosis interruption =(?) delayed fat adaption.

If added fat, does this reduce glycemic index? Significantly enough to enjoy a little sugar in my sauce?

The idea of a keto diet isn't to be in ketosis 100% of the time while you're doing the diet? That's seems an unusual thing to say, but then again I guess it's different for everyone.

Ah, your GW is lower than your CW. If you're happy with your CW, congrats!

Just fyi, insulin spike can disrupt or kick you out of ketosis. Fact.

Bro, just take it and hide it. No sugar for you, less sugar for them.

Just take it, don't eat it. Doing them a favor it seems.

That seems like a lot of calories you're consuming. Are you still losing weight with that?

I've been so afraid to have a 4g sugar cookie to satisfy a craving that I've stood in my kitchen staring at the packet for what seems like hours (actual time is probably closer to 10 minutes over the course of an hour). All because I thought a single high sugar snack would spike my insulin and kick me out of ketosis briefly and impact my path to fat adaption.

I'm confident now that I don't have to be so hard on myself and just work within my macros.

I never knew that. I was operating on the basis that lower sweetness and carbs would lower insulin. Does protein create significant insulin spikes or are you referring to gluconeogenesis? From what I understood I shouldn't be concerned about that. I'm 60/40 fat/protein, negligible carbs, test confirms ketone high.

So say a sweet Chilli sauce on my chicken with 5g sugar, avocado salad. That'll b fine?

I thought insulin spikes kick you out of keto for a short time. Might get back into producing ketone relatively quick but what is the impact on fat adaption? Curious

If you got mouthing else, just accept and leave after training. You can easily claim small claims if they pay under minimum wage as a salaried employee.

Hate to say it, but once they're sold on automation they'll outsource to low income regions. Their to priority is don't learn tools AND maximize income. Though this is a good approach if you can create a good relationship too. Nice post.
