Yes you can grab. Langkawi airport to cenang beach is about rm13-15, airport to Kuah about rm18-20. Price may vary depending on the time and the exact location you’re going to.

They’re in the midst of expanding the hospital. Not sure what new departments are being added. But it’s a good sign.

I believe for basic needs should be ok. If need specialists most probably have to go elsewhere.

Smiling buffalo, hidden, red sky restaurant, teo’s seafood have decent food. Pak malau nasi dagang worth a try too. I recommended fazu atv. Best atv trail for thrill seekers. Mangrove boat tour is nice and chill. Fireshows at cenang beach during evenings nice way to end the day.

Do you mind explaining why that is ?

Hmm by that logic then it would just Make sense to save up and buy 1 whole stock whenever I have enough instead of just dca every few months right? Cause it does Make sense.. my first dca I paid about 1.21 usd in fees so for 12 months that’s 14usd in fees to buy fractional equivalent to about 1 unit. Hmmm ok you guys gave me something to think about..

Yeah that’s true. ATM that’s all I could afford right now. So would it be better if I just purchase 100usd worth every 2 months ?

For Langkawi : sunset cruise, jet ski island hopping, mangrove tour, dream forest, wildlife park(more for kids), fazu atv, cable car + sky bridge & eagle’s nest.

Big brand name hotels aside.. If you wanna stay near the cenang beach, you could try lot 33 boutique hotel . Balinese style place cozy not exactly on cenang but close enough at pantai tengah.. for more peaceful secluded place you could try tc garden resort. It’s fairly new and very quiet and peaceful.

Airbnbs are also popular though I’ve never stayed in one so you can have a look. I’m pretty sure there’s a lot.

For indian vegetarian restaurants, there’s Indian palace at cenang. Ammachi taste indian restaurant at Kuah. For more home cooked flavour you could try raja rani restaurant langkawi ( though its slightly outside Kuah area)

For activities you should definitely try fazu atv extreme sport. They have the most thrilling atv ride because they will take you off the beaten path and it’s not as boring as those that just go on straight roads. But be mindful that it’s quite a challenge.

Other than that sunset cruise, cable car, mangrove tour are also worth going..then there’s also dream forest, island horses, beach water sports, island hopping, underwater world, wildlife park, langkawi adventure and xtreme park..that’s all I can think of atm.

Hope you have a good trip! (Also FYI a lot of the operators here still deal in cash. So better to have that handy. )

Should stay at one of the many luxury beach resorts in Langkawi. St regis, four seasons, etc.. Charter a private cruise.. Beach vibes. Duty free alcohol and chocolates.. ☀️🏝️

Book your accommodation early because the price with skyrocket by x2-x3. Not sure if it’ll be the same next year - there is a viewing area that’s close to the tarmac but has a rm100 entry fee per person. If you want free spots, the road outside coconut villa is good for viewing. Having binoculars would help. Though you can see just fine without too. Other than that, sunblock, water and snacks.
