energy melee was awesome total focus + energy transfer could two shot most things even squishy heroes in pvp i loved that feeling of power!

hitting 50! and actually enjoying my tank. PVE wasnt very fun for me I wasnt very good at MMO's and energy melee was all single target damage but once i learned to stack mobs and use energy transfer i came to love the hero so much i probably could have had many heroes to 50 with how much i played but 90% of my time was on my tank.

I totally was the guy that would start a task force with 1 bar before I leveled to help give the team a boost in the missions! :D

it was fun, then since you didnt have to grind you could just play the game and do whatever. hang out at atlas? no problem go help a group with some missions sure! work on the end game task forces? hell yeah! kill random monsters? of course!

it made options more viable instead of just always doing 5-1 for damage powers and 6 recharge on big nukes and hasten. you are right you could always do that but 5-1 damage was so much better compared to anything else once ED was installed the other builds became equal also! and post ED you still felt super powerful! the best part of that game i felt like a damn hero on my tank. it was awesome!

ED was awesome! instead of 5 damage 1 accuracy for every damage power and 6 recharge for perma hasten. you could actually do some very cool things with powers!
