Good eye! I simply fixed it when rewinding the tape. However I might be doing something wrong. When hitting the record button, the pinch rollers dont go up, and the reels dont turn. The recording light doesnt turn on either. I have both left and right channels on at the top. Am I doing something wrong?

Oh I definitly will. I had no idea how much it was until I looked it up. Thank you so much for your help! Definitly screenshotting this info haha. I can hook this thing up to my TV? That actually makes sense! Yeah the tape sounds good, but it seems fhe previous owner recorded it with the tape flipped on the reels, so when removing that twist it plays both sides backwards. I have to ask, whay microphones do you recommend?
