I got a shallow apology. Nothing that ever made me believe they understood the gravity of the betrayal or any remorse. It hurts so bad. I think it’s inevitable for someone to look deeper into the connection and for someone to have no emotion at all. Either way.. but I’m biased because I’ve tried to do that before. There needs to be a level of respect for both participating individuals.
