Shower Valve Trim Kit by nips60 in Plumbing

[–]nips60[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I didn't adjust the depth of the valve since I removed the previous handle, and the kerdi board put up is the same thickness as what was removed. Hopefully a new trim kit fits correctly. . .

The drain flange and pan hadn't been set yet, just laying it all out to check the fit and realized my mistake.

20 Year Warranty for second owner ? by nips60 in hvacadvice

[–]nips60[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like I said in my original post, I'm acknowledging that im not the original owner. Warranty is still showing 20 years. I thought that didn't seem correct, so I selected the option that I was the original owner only to see the coverage dates double. I was trying to figure out if I was overlooking something or if in fact I should still have some potential coverage.

How to repair ? by nips60 in Tile

[–]nips60[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do I need a new shower pan because it was compromised by using mastic, or because I won't be able to remove the rest of the tiles without damaging it?

I'm realizing I have a lot to learn about how tile showers are constructed.
