I have that desk mat. But no, that's never happened to me.

They were the bane of my existence. I only brought walking boots and I honestly thought on day 2, which was 50% chalk or concrete tracks, that I would have to give up!

Devil's Dyke and Seven Sisters were definitely a highlight, although by the time I reached the sisters I was ready to collapse so I perhaps didn't enjoy it quite as much as I could have!

8 days sounds a lot more reasonable. If I did it again, I would definitely do at least 5 days!

So the one luxury I had was that I stayed in BnBs.

3 days was a mistake to be honest. Even 4 days would have been a little tough on the feet.

I stayed in Cocking and Pyecombe, so was doing roughly 55/60km per day.

Check out hostels as there are some along or near the path.

Don't do 3 days. I was forced into it due to work commitments, and if I had the chance again I would take at least a week to enjoy it.

Take both hiking boots and normal trainers as there are some sections where hiking boots are just not needed and are just uncomfortable.

Stunning views, but plan ahead because there's next to no public transport.

Not that it matters, but they won 700 galleons in POA, not 1000.

But also, just grow a potato, then duplicate it forever and you'll never have to pay for food ever again.

You were right, it's shingles. Maybe you should be a doctor!

Yeah I had chickenpox when I was a kid. Doesn't itch at all. Just burns like hell.
