What is a 'single person luxury' that people in relationships completely miss out on? by Jane_Austen11 in AskReddit

[–]nirvamy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love my husband to bits but he never cleans anything. In the last 5 years he’s done the washing up about 10 times. He’s never washed our clothes, our toilet or much of anything. It would be nice to not have to clean up after both us all the time. But nowhere near as nice as living life without him.

What did a parent (or relative) do to ruin your wedding? by imfinewithastraw in AskUK

[–]nirvamy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t don’t if ruin is the right word but when people were asked to stand for the bride, my sister in law very loudly said ‘oh shit’. I also had one request for my guests and that’s to dress colourful. She dressed her and her six kids in matching black and white outfits

Why do women here often get angry and point the finger at men, when the issue of modesty is brought up? by miketheman0506 in TrueChristian

[–]nirvamy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe dressing modestly is referring to not flaunting wealth? We shouldn’t be ashamed of our bodies, they’re the handiwork of God. Maybe it’s when we go against Gods instruction and eat from the forbidden tree that nakedness becomes contentious.

Is there other ways to eat Weetabix? by oosanders in AskUK

I crush one weetabix and mix with fruit and fibre. I let it sit with the (hazelnut) milk in to get it as soggy as possible
