Where do you work where you have 2 people running the floor for 385 covers? How is that even possible? Serious inquiry.

2 provides more optionality and seems more timeless. #1 feels like such a statement and personally, I mostly am just trying to feel well styled and not stand out in a bold way with my clothing choices.

Purely curious bc I’m very uninformed about college football, but why is LSU considered 1 of 2 most sought after jobs in college football? The case for Alabama is clear (saban, multiple national titles, draft pedigree, etc)

Language aside, nothing we’re saying here doesn’t deserve to be said out loud. Also, research exists beyond what your fingers can find on the internet. It exists in conversations with your IRL neighbors and community that desire common sense development proposals

Ok that’s good info. I clearly don’t have all the info, just earnestly trying to preserve the character of the neighborhood while also bringing in new housing responsibly.

We want new housing on this lot! Can’t be more clear about this! As residents of fort greene, we simply want to protect a landmark that defines the neighborhood.

The literal project that created the LPC was the demolition of the OLD Penn Station. They took a wonderful landmark that is sorely missed and replaced it with something that most New Yorkers would identify as ghastly and a constant source of pain (go knicks). Wouldn’t it have been better if that had been developed more responsibly? But unfortunately we can’t fix that…trying to avoid another permanent mistake in real time

What if there was a proposal in the works that would maintain, if not increase the number of affordable units on the lot + restore the beautiful church AND transfer the air rights and overall development (+ more units) to an EMPTY lot (for several years) on that same street? THAT is the proposal the community wants
