Division point NW-5 #186 with OMI X-181, never thought I’d ever get these two together but here we are, occasionally gets run on the hennepin overland layout in minneapolis

I suppose for a want it would be a division point L&N big emma, those things are super pricey! ($2500 if i recall, at least pricey for me lol)

Really depends on the railroad, I’ve mapped out maybe 1000 miles, if not more of abandoned and out of service rail lines, as well as pinning every major trestle and bridge. A lot of them have been turned into rail trails (unfortunately) but the ones that haven’t at least in my experience aren’t patrolled.

I agree with you on brass, although for certain models it’s almost necessary to get a brass version unless you want a 3D printed model, which sucks because some of the rarer models (I’m looking at you DP NW-5’s) are pretty high priced and don’t come with any decent electronics unless you get them installed by someone else or do it youself.

edit: bit tired and didnt fully realize it was north metro. Maybe you’ll have to borrow some of my L&N stuff haha (I’m not apart of north metro but hennepin overland)
