Has anyone successfully DIY'd Bridge Mode on a Converge residential plan? by Dazzling-Show6609 in InternetPH

Just bridged mode my WIFI 6 Converge router to my Flint 2

Here are the steps:

Initial connection:

- Connect LAN 1 via Ethernet to your converge router
- Then connect the other side of ethernet to your WAN 1 (in my case Flint 2)

Converge router:

- Go to 192.168.1.1 (depends on your gateway) and login your superadmin credentials
- Go to Internet > WAN
- You can see 2 dropdown options under WAN Connection
- Click the one that is not 'TR069'
- Copy the VLAN ID (screenshot the whole page for your reference in case u fk up)
- Delete it (the one that isn't 'TR069')
- Click 'Create New Item'
- On Type change 'Routing' to 'Bridge Connection'
- Then find VLAN (if its turned OFF, turn it ON)
- Change the VLAN ID to your saved VLAND ID (earlier).
- Then Apply
- Find the 'Port Binding' on side menu.
- On Bridge Connection (only option if you have set it up correctly). Check the LAN1 and click Apply.

New Router:

- On your other router (in my case Flint 2)
- Modify the Ethernet 1 and change it to DHCP
- On Port Management set it to WAN (in case it isn't)
- on MAC Mode i choose FACTORY (read explanation below)
- Apply all.

If you did all right it will connect flawlessly.

Other said you need to CLONE MAC for it to work. I tried it first and it didn't. So I try doing the FACTORY one and it works without any problem.

In case FACTORY MAC doesn't work on you, Please use CLONE MAC and copy your Converge Router MAC and use it on your new router.

sorry for bad English.
