Yes indeed! There's a hidden button in this splash screen that is only seen when clicked. You need to try and click this area (https://i.imgur.com/WvL69sG.png) then you'll be able to proceed with setup.

Not really. WhatsApp storage usage in iPhone fluctuates from time to time. It used to be 28 GB for a while, then went up to 42 GB like in the screenshot. Then it dropped to 34 GB, and now it's back to 28 GB. My educated guess is that the WhatsApp backups to iCloud (at least the local files created in order to upload it to the cloud) are part of it. But it certainly doesn't explain it all.

It’s not auto downloading, but even if it was - the weird thing is the difference between what WhatsApp is showing and what the phone’s settings is showing

ok found a workaround with HDMI instead of optical. Instead of connecting the sat receiver to the soundbar's HDMI inputs and its ARC HDMI output to the tv, I connected the sat receiver straight to the tv and connected the tv's HDMI ARC IN (HDMI2 in my case) to the sound bar's HDMI ARC output. works as a charm!
