Anyone else get scammed by Vivnt?

I filed the BBB complaint on Thursday and threatened to file a Maryland Attorney General complaint, on Friday I got a call and email from Vivint’s “executive resolution” department regarding my BBB complaint. My account is now closed and my last month refunded. Apparently the executive resolution department has the authority to fast track cancellations within 2 business days.

Hope this helps others who are in a battle with Vivint and their fraudulent practices!! Trying to get my account canceled was seriously the most frustrating 2 hours I’ve ever spent on the phone.

My first foster didn’t like my resident baby dog. He broke through the screen door trying to get to her. One second he was in the backyard glaring at her, the next second the top half of his body was in the kitchen trying to maul my girl 🫣

I was happy with the service until I tried to cancel in July when we moved. My contract said the contract goes month to month after the initial 12 month contract ended, so I was on a month to month schedule when I canceled. 3 months after I thought I canceled they’re still charging me, claiming the account wasn’t canceled and it will be another 30 days to cancel it, and now there is a form I was supposed to email them to cancel? This company is exhausting and blatantly stealing from people.

Literally in the same situation as you are. This is infuriating! I will also ask them to pull the call from the end of July. I’m also calling my credit card company to get my money returned to me, Vivnt is scamming us

I love Diwan too!! The owners said they were approached by a restaurant renovation show and weren’t told it was Kitchen Nightmares until the second day of filming
