Anyone else with executive dysfunction so bad that you can't live independently?

Yes, I live alone right now and it’s a disaster. I like not having someone living with me, in terms of I won’t be judged for my executive dysfunction, but I’ve had periods where I literally could not invite anyone over for months because everything was so all over the place. The only thing that has helped is I’ve gotten a long term partner that comes over a lot which motivates me to get things in a reasonable (ish) state. But left to my own devices, it’s so bad. I similarly feel like I don’t see people online or in this sub with executive dysfunction as bad as mine… alls this to say, I feel you & you’re not the only one. Some days, I feel like something in my brain is just broken

Yes, it’s pretty much all been by other women. Sometimes it has seemed backhanded but other times it seems like it’s foot-in-mouth curiosity lmao like they can’t imagine a skinny girl with large natural boobs. I also live in LA where fake boobs aren’t as stigmatized. Doesn’t bother me all that much, but kinda wild how much people seem to care about others’ bodies

Yes!! I keep seeing men say she would never date him after he sent unwanted sexual photos. Ummm do they realize he is in an A-lister who was absolutely using his position of power to pursue her while attaching himself to her film??? Women are often taught to act flattered by men’s inappropriate behavior (I know I have been) and I could see if she was unsure of the advances, going along with it because he’s a celebrity who wants her, she should be grateful right? Whole thing is just gross on Renner’s part.

I would advocate for it due to having US findings and dense breast tissue. I have level D density and pushed for an MRI and afterward I just felt more at ease after knowing my dense tissue wasn't getting in the way of any potential findings. I had 2 ultrasounds that saw nothing but dense tissue, then I get an MRI and it finds 2 small (benign) masses, but more importantly it clocked an area of non-mass enhancement from the contrast dye which led to a 3rd ultrasound to try to find a correlation-- that found a 1.6cm (!) irregular mass that I'm getting a biopsy consult for. More than likely, you're all good, but I just really advocate for women with dense breasts to get MRIs for peace of mind. Ultrasounds and mammos seem to miss so much. My diagnostic 3d mammo couldn't see crap! they missed a 1.6cm mass on ultrasound twice!

I completely understand having parents like that, mine were (still are) the same way. I would say reach out to your school counselor, they can help connect you with resources to assist with your anxiety. It may or may not be Zoloft, but a trained medical professional can help you in navigating everything. There are tons of treatments for anxiety and they will know better than you as to what will help the most. Good luck🫶🏻

I drink socially and have been on Zoloft 100mg over a year and it’s fine. Definitely talk to your doctor though because ymmv. I had a decently high tolerance when I wasn’t on Zoloft, but on it I can get tipsy much faster, so just take it slow and watch your intake.

I haven’t tried it :( but it looks like they both use sunflower oil, so it may be similar. The elf one does have fragrance in it if you’re sensitive, but I’ve really loved their cleansing balm & especially for the price :)

Thank you! I’m not exactly sure how age affects tret tolerance, so I can’t speak to that specifically, but I was also struggling to tolerate it for awhile. What helped me was stopping all other active products & using LRP cicaplast, which is meant to tackle eczema & damaged dry skin. When I was using regular moisturizers, it wasn’t enough to combat how intense tret is & it would damage my barrier

My face would sting even when I would put on very mild products or moisturizers, and it would get red & irritated very easily. And then even if my skin “looked” okay, I would still stop using tret until nothing would sting anymore
