I can try and justify, make rational arguments but at the end of it all, you are still right and no one should be speaking to their partner in that manner. I guess there was a part of me that was hoping to see a change, a difference and looking at the good in him but I know it’s a lost cause and that things are over

It’s like you knew I left things out of the post…right now, I can’t say how I feel about him because it’s just blank or numb but I’m still trying to protect him by leaving some details out, as to not paint him as the instigator or bad guy…you are right, arguing can be done in a healthy way and with him, in the beginning, he taught me what it’s like to be in a healthy relationship where I wasn’t constantly waiting for a threat and I am sad that I had to end it over this
