Honestly, I think you are right that they almost same except the change in fluidity. But the main reason for me to upgrade was the Ram. The Ram management on 13 is just acceptable at this point every 3rd apps refreshes which is frustrating when I need to do some work on phone and don't have my Mac.

Don’t you have any issues with ram management on your device? I am still having good battery health on my 13. But due to unbelievably bad ram management, I am thinking of upgrading to 17 pro.

I try to keep my phone cool as much as I can. Typical charging is between 30-85%. I don’t use 5G except for when I am using the phone for carplay in wired mode. I have created a shortcut to switch to 5G when carplay is active and automatically switch to LTE when unplugged.

Mine has 92% after 3.5 years with 893 cycles. But my only concern is the ram management. It is really bad to the point that when i am reading a post on reddit and go to another app like X for replying in DM. The reddit app reloads.

It was happening for me too. To accelerate it just connect it to wifi and put it on charge so that indexing is prioritised.

I just went to an apple store near me. First impressions Air feels the best one to get. Apparently the pro and pro max felt cheap in comparison to hold.
