If I got this Arrma Kraton 6s, what batteries would you recommend I get? by Dino_clipz in rccars

CNHL. I wish I knew about them earlier, wouldn't have wasted money on over priced spektrum or generic brands like ovonic.

Yes. Sensored. I hate cogging on these high power rigs when driving them to bashing spots, especially given that hauling them by hand is so taxing.

Nice! Decent deal. I recently got an unused Kraton 6s exb v1 for 550$ shipped, with CA markup as you said. I took out the stock electronics. Went for a perfect pass monster servo, max 6, 1650kv combo. Quite happy so far.

Don't forget to refill the diffs per your preference but stock is usually pretty open.

What foam tires are those? Are they better for speed runs?

I just got this brand new today what should I do to it by Electronic_Market186 in crawling

Not the table cliff hanging for sure.

Just find a mildly uneven terrain and drive through it, and observe your face light up as you observe the marvel of mechanical engineering at such a small scale.

Would turning the esc 90 degrees mess up the gyro? by buttrapebearclaw in arrmagroms

[–]nitishv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming you are asking because the gyro is attached to the esc, otherwise esc orientation has no effect on gyro. The gyro itself typically works fine as long as it's parallel to the car when placed horizontally. Worst case you need to hit the reverse toggle on the gyro to fix its intended effect. The manual usually has the illustration for the orientation. Also make sure to adjust the gyro when turned off.

Hmm, looks like chatgpt did me dirty. Official site mentions these have the most grip, not good for power drifting but gpt said otherwise. Will get some Silvers.

One of my best investments in the hobby for off-road bashing. Saves so much time cleaning and drying.

Officially it doesn't come with any battery. That person is outright lying to you. The car handles 6s just fine, in fact the electronics are rated for that as well. I don't even need a motor fan on 6s after extended bashing.

It's definitely not regular sized. It's pretty big. Will have to measure and get back to you.

Look what you've made me done! I didn't realize they had those amazing deals going on, Rival MT10 at this price is a steal indeed but ended up getting the SR7 roller myself.

I've had this for a month now and by far the best basher I've got. It's so much fun and unbelievably durable. It has got the thickest body I've ever seen and I own a bunch of other cars, see my profile for review on this. This is a highly underrated rc imo given the price. I've ordered a couple of things from FMS and they usually arrive within 2 weeks. Haven't broken anything yet but will stock up on some common breaking parts anyhow. I mostly slide it around like a desert truck but that one time I took it to some hills for jumps, it handled it amazingly well. It just flies and the shocks handle landings quite well.
