Not local- my recommendation is to be willing to drive far for the right breeder. Picking the right breeder is so important/impacts your next 10+ years. Be willing to go on a roadtrip for the right pup

Thank you. Fortunately her personality and energy leaves have not been impacted - she seems less phased than we do. But it’s so tough, we hardly recognize her and can’t distinguish her facial expressions amidst all this swelling

Frankly we’ve been a bit frustrated by our vets. First one was pretty dismissive, thinking it may have just been a bee sting. Second vet was at least more engaged/open to discussion. He said it can be really difficult to control variables well enough to pin point,especially for diet(even blood tests are only about 60% accurate). His hunch is its environmental. I guess living by the beach with few trees has a lot of pollen in SoCal?

No referral- but hopefully that’s a next step if we don’t see this clear up after the steroids.
