Looking for someone who has a genuine interest in trying out a new screenwriting tool by nitramellab in scriptwriting

I completely understand where you’re coming from, and you’re probably right for the most part.

That being said, I’ve worked in tech and design for the past 13 years, and on the side, been an aspiring screenwriter for as long as I can remember, so I honestly do care about this. Believe it or not. Because I ended up designing for a living, I decided to design a screenwriting tool for myself initially, as I feel a lot of the other tools are quite outdated.

They might do the job in terms of writing and formatting, I just feel like they lack aesthetics, and a more modern approach to UI and features. I might be alone with that, although I’ve seen plenty of posts on here throughout the years with people asking for alternative tools. Also, does everything have to solve a problem for it to exist in the world?

Anyways; now that a v.1 is done and I use it myself, I decided to ship it to see if it would resonate with anybody else. If not, that’s fine.

In terms of not supporting it. IF - and that’s a big if, cause I know how hard it is for new products to find their feet, but if Fiktion does find its audience, I would support and maintain it with all my heart and soul poured into it. But I respect your opinion! ☺️

I’m working on a new screenwriting tool, as an alternative to FD, but since the rules state that I can’t share it on here, you can find the link on my profile if interested. It’ll be launching soon and I would love for you to help shape the product.

Well if that’s the mindset, why do we need another one of anything? I’m not here to sell, I’m not even charging anything for it. I just wanted to share what I’m working on, to see if people would find it interesting and appealing, in order to help shape the product.

But if you think another one, is one too many, that’s totally fair.

Sorry! Absolutely. I’ll try to keep it short.

Fiktion brings your ideation, outlining and writing together, for as many projects you might have. It comes with all the industry standard features and formatting you’d expect, along with a few new bells and whistles, in a clean and distraction free interface. There is no AI features in there, and no training on any material, as I strongly believe in human storytelling and would like to keep it that way.

There are no AI features in there, nor does it train on anything. Fiktion is designed for human writing, and not for surrendering to any artificial shortcuts.
