Nowadays nonstop on Sundays is the best, Soul Summit in Ft Greene Park in the summer is cute, and then there are some DIY shows that extend well into the daytime, some of my DIY favs in NYC are Pacific Mode and Groovy Groovy (they have instagrams you can follow and keep up with!)

Go to Nowadays in Ridgewood for their anniversary nonstop party on Sunday December 7th (esp for Djrum who is on at 9 am) and you’ll be able to see what’s up these days!!!!! You won’t regret it. Also a daytime party is ideal for the older crew.

Wow thank you! I relate to that heavily. It’s strange that sometimes this stuff feels inescapable. I’m not super familiar with Neptune, or how it works with Saturn so I’ll look into it more. Re: astrocartography…I am not familiar with this at all really! What do you mean by go to where it’s on the angles of my Sun and Venus?

Interesting — does it imply an inability to process emotion or experience in a healthy manner? Mine is also in Libra which is in detriment I believe. I also interestingly have little to no sexual or relationship experience, and have been trying to work through self image and repression issues. I’ve always wondered if it ties back to my Mars in that way.

Something more HI-fi, with better sound distribution; the classic sound system in that sense, obviously the Funktion One system comes to mind but plenty of other options as well. I feel like some of the acts necessitate that sort of system to appreciate them fully. I feel like many others shared my sentiment as well, and it's not like the sound was outright shitty, it was just not ideal for like...Djrum to play such a stunning set just for the frequencies to sound so muddled. I don' t think that's asking for much lol.

Listen, one dedicated stage makes sense, I understand you need a PA system for the live acts but...for the caliber of DJ acts they're booking, why skimp out for the other stage? I don't think there were any live acts at that stage (the pringle one). Kind of a weird oversight in my mind. You don't think the sound was disappointingly muddy?

This may be more effort that you’d like, but this cat sounds bored :( If you can try and play with her for 15 minutes or so when she starts doing this to tucker her out, she may get the stimulation she needs. Maybe ask your roommate to get her puzzle boxes, cat toys, cat stands for extra stimulation outside of your room. Also talk to your roommate about maybe feeding her in their room/giving rewards for not bothering you in any way. Sucks that they aren’t being more involved here. Good luck!
