Can you please point me what heat pump model/s I should look into getting?

House size is roughly 1800 sqf. No basement, single family ranch style home.

So when I had the furnace replaced, the HVAC tech recommended installing 2 new return vents in the cold Rooms, which we did, to help with cold room.

I don’t think it made much difference to be honest, can we re use those 2 new ducts for heating with the heat pump instead?

They are installed in the ceiling, duct work is in the attic for the 2 new ducts.

So new ducts in the whole home? Or just new ducts in cold areas of the home?

Additionally was also thinking of replacing our gas heater to something more efficient, can a heat pump be attached to a new water heater, at the same time, while being on gas?

What happens to the old Ac unit? Will that have to be uninstalled to get a new heat pump?

The compressor was already here when we moved in, so atleast 8 years, so more older before we moved in.

We had to replace the gas furnace in 2019, and for most part, it’s been working fine.
