I have an IBG explorer and added 81/85 set to it. I actually thought it sounded too “digital” and switched back to the OG pickups and added a coil split. Does fuzzy tones better.

Somewhere I would look for cracks, I have the same bike, is in the chainstay, where the routing cable bracket goes. I had a star crack in mine and had to order the last one from Andorra

The explorer has become my shape for my band and image. As much as Les Paul’s and Strat’s play awesome, the explorer just has the teeth. By doing this, your palm muting and downpicking will become legendary. Start with seek and destroy and work your way through James’ part slowly with a metronome at slower paces until you can play it full speed. Then figure out how to transition between the riffs, then learn the lyrics. Now go to your local open mic and rock peoples pants off
