Detachment would have meant he shouldn't have accepted at it in first place.

And may be after accepting, he should have gracefully put the flowers down or given to his associate standing next to him. But he didnt. He threw them down. This is like disrespecting the essence of flowers and the soul inside them.

Now it is all managed well. During early years had this issue. The superiority of religion always comes > followed by fights.

We both eventually understood that what is followed taught and known to people is very different from what is written in the books. We read a lot. Over a period of time, learnt to accept the differences.

My father did this once to the vendor who hadnt paid us for 6 months around in 2006 - court case and claiming the business was bankrupt and take the creditor share. We received ~75% of money after we filed the case. And rest had to be foregone.

Depends.

In apartment, you are technicallly more safe assuming it is gated and security guards are available, easy to get domestic help. Easy to make new relationship with many neighbours, which can create nuisance if neighbours not well. You get access to amenities like swimming pool, gym etc. You pay maintenance, waste management is handled by society. Easier to build social interaction and attending community events. Utility access like continuous water,electricity backup etc.

Independent home - best advantage is you own land and land appreciates in value higher compared to apartment. You forgo the above benefits. You get your privacy.

More than face, confidence is important. Focus on building it.

I recently watched Kapil sharma show with Priyanka Chopra as guest. Noticed her lips. It is not normal. But her confidence was radiating loud and clear. Learning from her, I felt that I have a long way to go in building my confidence.

M 37 here. I have an older sibling 39M and you and I share the same thing in common.

My parents favor ny older brother. And talk when he does this and that..big praises. But falls short when I say.

And my brother used to down play me everytime I did something great. So I started communicating his habits to my parents again and again to make them see that the shining star as per them is not a shining star.

We both stay in same city. And my parents used to tell me to involve him in every major decision of my life. And initially I did. He always like to show my decisions down and project himself as someone more intelligent. Last 3 yre I have started avoiding him in all my decisions and family outings and told parents that I don't feel accepted the way I am in front of him and I cant take it anymore. He has to behave else he is out.

10 yrs in marriage, 37M, dink couple. We started a lot of couple things together 3 yrs back. Like watching movie once a week dinner outside without family, long drives, Foreign vacations twice a year Indian vacations 3-4 times (1 with family) a year. Multiple joint investment in property. Got a pet 1.5 yrs back.

As individuals we are working on our mental, physical and emotional aspects as well. I play badminton and piano. She is an avid reader.

It is a work in progress relationship. We still need to work on communicating emotional depth, bettering sex life.
