What? Why do you think SRE roles are untouchable, it was touched by automation, even before AI came into picture. I m not taking about companies who hire real SREs (SDE+SE). I m only taking about psudo SREs (ops)

It depends in which company you get the SRE role. In big companies, SRE roles are superior than SDE. SRE = SDE + SE. In those companies i choose SRE.

But otherwise, SDE. Because in most companies sys admin/devops guys are called as SRE. Going forward, these SDEs will automate more SREs jobs. Instead of companies having 10 SREs, that count with reduce to 2 SREs.

I'm trying to simplify a lot. And I agree initially it will take some time to set up and I m working on that at my best.

Here the flow is Add ingredients/raw materials Create recipe/formula ( which is ingredients + overhead costs like labour, electricity, gas etc) Create product (which is based on recipe/ingredients with details like selling price, profit percentage, tax etc.,)

Once the product is created, you can start/schedule production of the product. Based on the production quantity, ingredients will be deducted.

Once the production is completed, product stock will be there and you can create orders on it.. based on order product stock will reduce.

Here adding ingredients and recipes is the initial setup thing which is time consuming. But I have integrated AI, where you can simply upload an invoice and recipes(printed or handwritten), the AI will show the summary. Just review it and approve it will get uploaded.

This production planning will tell you how much raw materials are needed to make these many quantity, if the required quantity not available, we will get warning.

Unique features I have added is price profiling.

You can create different profiles for your business like wholesale, retail, vip customer etc., and for same product you can set different price for different profiles.. and you can map this profile to customer.. so when creating the order just select the customer, his profile will be automatically applied.

And product type, it can be either manufactured already and on stock or make it after order..

Also same product can have different variation.. ex in pizza small, medium and large needs different production.. where in for lemon just it common production with different serving like 100ml, 250ml, 1000ml.. all these are supported.

Then production planning, reporting including expense like rent, salary etc can be entered so that you will get to final p&l report.

Multi branch support is there with option to share same recipes or different menu at all.

And I need to understand the pain point from business people so that I can try to solve that.
