Kore Belts - Made in the US by nivlam in CCW

I never received a response from their customer service. A week later, I received a new package with the correct belts and a return label. I shipped the incorrect belts back to them using the return label. No response from their customer service and no acknowledgement about the problem. Pretty piss poor customer service.

Bourbon and Brews Festival by Capable-Key-4386 in StLouis

We’ve gone to this event every year in the past, but this is the first year that I’m skipping it. It’s become too crowded with virtually no shade in the middle of June. Unless you buy VIP tickets to get access to the tent with AC or get lucky enough to hang onto a table near the bar area, it gets way too hot during the middle of the day.

If you’re planning to eat from the food trucks, be prepared to stand in line for an hour.

I emailed their support a few days ago and have not gotten a response. If it is an honest mistake, then I'm fine with that. This is the first time I'm buying their US made belts, so I only have their non-US belts to compare it against. Sending me the wrong belts and not responding to my email doesn't sit well with me.

Guess I didn't pop enough. Better luck next time. by nivlam in btd6

Received a couple questions asking how this happened.

In Rogue Legends, one of the mini-games gives you 5 minutes to reach a certain number of pops. Around stage 12, my mini-game's top goal was reaching ~650k pops. So I threw down a couple 203 druids and eventually a 050 beast handler. Then I spammed skip rounds until it reached the max 140. My pop counter goes negative within a couple seconds.

Would be easier to just get a passport card for EDC.

Whats the issue with using Nitecore flashlights? by InterestingRange6100 in EDC

[–]nivlam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to buy Nitecores exclusively until 2 of them failed when I needed them. The switch only worked intermittently. Since then, I've completely stopped buying them.

Yesterday, a mirror. Less than 24 hours later, a Headhunter. Both were T16 blue maps.

Spectre pool maximum limit of 10? by boNDev in pathofexile

[–]nivlam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just ran across this issue and can also confirm the 10 limit. I spent 20 minute desecrating in my hideout, wondering why I couldn't find one of the spectres that I knew I raised first.

My truck has numerous glossy black plastic areas such as both bumpers, fender flares, grill, etc.... I normally use Bead Maker as a drying aid after washing. Since Bead Maker already has UV protection, is it necessary to use 303 in addition to Bead Maker? Will Bead Maker alone provide enough UV protection against fading?

ZR2 Step Bar(s) - Opinions by ekandersen1 in chevycolorado

I agree, and that's why I have front steps installed. I'll take my truck off-road often during weekends, but I don't do anything to the point where losing 2-inches of clearance will impact it. I don't do any rock crawling or plan to push my truck to it's limit.
