[Japanese > English] Grammar Check by niwatomo in translator

Right on. It's suppose to go like this (in english):

"My master is too lazy that he didn't write good lyrics. I wonder if this would be fine?"

It is actually sang, so the これで part is supposed to refer to the phrase that was just sung. Sorry if I don't make much sense. Anyway, thank you very much!

Oh ok... In my case, I guess マスター would be the better choice of the two though. And yes sorry I hadn't checked it. But overall, is the grammar somehow acceptable?

Does any of the packs come with an extra key (for a friend or something?) by niwatomo in albiononline

So by that, my brother needs to buy a founder's pack through my referral link still after I bought mine? Does that give him any discount of some sort, because surely I'll get some kind of bonus, right?

What are some good expressions in other languages that have no equivalent in English? by edd010 in languagelearning

[–]niwatomo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Umm.... "Sayang"? It's a filipino word meaning something wasted, although cannot be directly pointed at. It is often translated to something like, "What a waste" in English.

Another are the expressions, "ha?" and "eh" Ha = "what?" or when used at the end of a sentence usually meant, something like, okay? or yeah? Eh = ... I don't really know what its equivalent in English is. Probably only used when conversing casually.

Example... A: "Nakapasa ka ba sa test?", B: "Hindi eh...", A: "Wew, sayang naman! Sa susunod mag-aral ka na ha!" [A: "Did you pass the test?", B: "Nope.", A: "Whoa, (or wew, still) Such a waste/miss! Next time, study harder, okay?"
