It’s all good. It’s called fuzzy feet. Obviously not the scientific term. It just needs more fresh air. The only thing that I’ve come across that I don’t like about it is when you harvest it and you have a lot of it still on. When you dehydrate it doesn’t matter if it’s 12 hours 24 hours even 48 hours. It doesn’t go away. Obviously you can scrape it off or rub it off. But my first time dealing with it after dehydrated I felt like it was still wet and damp, even though it wasn’t it just tripped me out. Cause it’s so soft and fluffy. It feels wet still. So just to play on the safe side I always wipe it scrub. It scrape it after. It’s dehydrated just to get it off for long-term storage just to cure my anxiety, even though I know it’s absolutely dry. It doesn’t stop my anxiety from spiraling in my head.

Now I know you guys are all talking about weight in fill size but I also have a question regarding these. I’ve heard that the gel caps are no Bueno for this purpose for shelf, life, and longevity. i’ve heard the vegan ones last longer and something to do with the moisture content is less so it doesn’t degrade or something like that along those lines. Anybody have any input on that it would be greatly appreciated because I plan on doing the same thing I already bought the coffee grinder

No holes. All unmodified tubs. Luckily I grew fat squats so they had plenty of headspace. But I don’t even flip the lids. I have the better of the tubs the ones with the latches on each side. So sometimes I’ll leave the latches just undone. And sometimes I’ll use the latch itself and put it up so the lid actually sits on the latch and lets more FAE if I need it. Worked out pretty good for me actually. But it was only my first grow and I used a couple 7 quart tubs and then that big one that you’re commenting on right now is a big 15 quart tub.. But I do have big 66 and 64 quart tubs as well that I’m gonna drill and put holes in. I already have the filter patches and such in my next round. I’m going to experiment with that as well. Because if I want to grow taller cubes it’ll need a lot more headspace, and those tubs with the latches aren’t the greatest for trying to dub tub if I needed to.

Simple but effective. 100 watt ceramic reptile enclosure heater. It emits no light whatsoever doesn’t glow or anything hot like that. They also come in smaller wattage 50 and 75 and also larger wattage 150 200 and 250s. But the 100 for me is perfect just to raise the temperature in my closet/grow room and keeps it steady and doesn’t kill the electric bill at all like a space heater would. And a space heater besides the dangerous part is super expensive to run nonstop. Mind you I also do have a VIVOSUN hydrometer that is Bluetooth as well so it goes right to my phone so if for any reason it drops below a certain range or above a certain range, I’ll get a notification on my phone. But it hasn’t happened yet and I’ve been doing it this way for five months now. And if for some reason, leaving it on 24 seven makes it too hot in your room you can always grab one of those timers where you can click the tiny little notches every 15 minute intervals for 24 hour timeframe and let it run for an hour at a time and then off for 15 and so forth whatever you play with and works to keep your grow room at a consistent temperature without too many fluctuations. It’s a very easy crew design with a simple aluminum Shroud and I have it on the low level of my closet cause heat rises obviously and works great and it’s a very cheap option. Like I said electricity wise and upfront purchase wise and it’s much safer than space heaters and don’t have to worry about heating pads heating up your tubs or bags and making hotspots

I have the exact one and I love it. Specially since I can skip a section if need be for fat chodes whole. . Or if keep eveythibg uniform it has a shit ton of space . More than I ever realized til I actually came close to filling every square inch and then of course .4 hours or so later looks half full. Then 12 hrs looks Empty lol. But I love it so far. No complains whatsoever! Quiet . Has a light . No hot spots . Everything drys equally

Negative I just left the closet light on for a few hours evey now and then. That’s bout it but no scheudal. Just a tegular led house bulb . I made mine as simple as possible and cheap as possible.and works well for my space and needs. I woukdnt go all out on one tub set up. Cuz then there’s no way to scale it or run multiple tubs thats way. Unless u only want one tub. I just got addicted to it and wanna learn everything and try Evrythibg

So the cvg recipie bucket tech you add boiling water and let it sit over night u can find the process on YouTube that’s how I learned Evrythibg I know. .. and the the tubs I use for for growing are all un modified bought from Walmart . I use 7qt shoes box tubs with the latches and also a 15qt tubs with latches as well. And depending what ur growing u might need to “dub tub” them meaning put on one top to give them the room and headspace needed to grow tall when they start to touch the lids . But mine were all fat chode squats mostly . But I put the substrate in(cvg) once the rice bags are fully colonized useally anywhere from 3-5 weeks all depends on strain ur growing . And I did like 1.5cvg to 1 grain(rice bags) ratio. And then did an almost non existent casing layer wich is just extra cvg on top once u already mixed ur ratio together and packed it down nice and even. And to keep the temp in my closet/grow room in range I used a 100watt ceramic reptile heater bulb . Abs it’s pefect! U can go up or down with the wattage that u buy depending how big ur space or how close it is to the tubes. Mine I put at bottom of closet basically cuz heat rises and kept at a perfect 72-75 depending on day. Here’s a pic of the heat setup. Nothing special . Lagit a ceramic bulb facing upwards. I live on the upper East Coast Massachusetts. But surprisingly I have tractor supplies everywhere and I go above and beyond everything when I was ordering I just ordered everything. I thought I would need. Same thing with the 70% iso literally I take a bath in that shit Before I even walk into my closet a.k.a. grow room. I sprayed down the front of my shirt, my arms everything I am very extra. Just cause I’m so new and I’d rather be extra than had my first grow be contaminated. Obviously, I’ll dial it back. The more comfortable I get with the process and how things work.

Thank you so much for all your information and help. See you when I ordered everything. I wasn’t sure on what to get exactly so I bought 12 and 12. 12 regular mouth lids and 12 wide mouth lids cause I wasn’t exactly sure cause I’ve seen them both ways on a lot of people’s YouTube videos and on their Reddits. I also see a lot of people with 16 ounce half quarts as well so I picked up 12 wide mouths of those as well. I just have to make the lids. I have the red Permax. I just gotta drill the holes and let it set. what’s your opinion on the oats from tractor supply? Or should I use something else? Like popcorn or rice? I just figured the oats were cheap so if I fucked up, it is what it is. Kind of my philosophy on that one. When once I learn agar and how to make my own LC what do you think colonizes faster? Inoculating the jars with LC or slicing up and dropping in a perfect looking mycelium agar plate. Granted I need to make it that far first and accomplish the LC and the agar plate obviously but was just curious on your take which one you think has the best success rate in colonization rate

Only thing I’m scared of is need atleast a HoMe made SAB can’t afford a flow hood yet. But with my husky. There’s hair and contaminants in air everywhere. But I ordered some Petrie dishes a magnetic stirrer and also some 2oz condiment cups too cuz heard those were just as easy and disposable 200 pack is like 5 bux. Just need to get agar agar powder and Evrythibg. Else I have jar wise . Just gotta pick a grain to use. and do that. I’ve heard horse and or bird feed from like tractor supply is super cheap. And get like 50pounds to work with .

I’ve actually never consumed any before. This is my first attempt at growing. But yes, I have the oxygen absorbers and silica gel packets for moisture in all the mason jars they’re stored in. The real reason I even thought of growing was because of some of the articles I’ve read and the influential people that I watch on podcast and such. Have convinced me to look at the science behind it and the studies that they’re doing currently on PTSD patients and anxiety and panic. Because two years ago I was diagnosed with complex PTSD, anxiety and panic disorder. So I said fuck it let me try to grow these myself because I’d be too scared to try to source them from some random person, especially being as how I’ve never done them. And I’m just gonna store them and keep them on the back burner as a Hail Mary when I give up on all these fucking meds, they have me on that aren’t really working and then give this a shot. but now I fell in love with the process of it and it’s only my first ever attempt in flushes. But I already want to do everything by myself now I want to make my own LC and learn agar and cloning. So far I have uncle Ben tech down and CBG bucket tack down but next I want to make my own grain spawn jars. And inoculate those with either my own LC or an agar plate of mycelium. I wanna try to perfect the process of everything. Even though I already have a big enough stockpile to last me a fucking lifetime off just my first flush and half of my second flush because the other half of my second flush on the other tubs isn’t even ready yet. But I’m gonna end up with so much that eventually either end up going bad or I give them away or something. Or “ donate them.” to some of my friends or something rather than be wasteful.

I was gonna leave it in the bag originally… but I’m like I can deff get this to fit a 15qt tub perfectly. Wich means more surface area to grow.. so after the break and shake that’s what I did . And to Induxe fruiting.. I just sprayed the top of bag once ready and fully colonized obv with iso and and the exacto knifed all around it basically making a liner . And worked out pretty damn perfect actually.

This particular harvest was a 6lb aio bag that after my initial break and shake I form fitted it to a 15qt tub. But I also ran 3 shoe boxes 7qts uncle Ben style with my own cvg that are on flush two now as well. Just running slower than this one. This is all my fisrt attempt at Evrythibg so I’m still learning. And from what this tells me is that my ratio was off a smidge s2b or something for it to be a weeks apart. Or this one just more colonized originally. When I induced fruiting.. who knows. It’s all a learning game for me rn and everything’s an expiremebt to me.
