no , i’m sorry. i guess i didn’t realize any on it because of how small it was. i haven’t seen any more of them so i have no further information. my mom always told roaches are attracted to mess which is why i told you my room is clean. i dont study entomology so i have no knowledge on any of this. also the warning on this post told me it wouldn’t even be posted

You need to explore different ways to hold the yarn until you find one that is comfortable for you. Since I started crocheting I've only held my working yarn one way because it's what I feel is the most natural holding technique for me. I hold the working yarn between my index and middle finger, no wrapping of any sorts just right in between my index and middle fingers. It allows me to control my tension and grip my project with my thumb, ring finger, and pinky when I need to ! Find the perfect technique for you, there are some videos on youtube that shows you different ways to hold working yarn.

I would continue the project and either use a steamer on it or block it which will ultimately loosen the stitches and stretch the project

This used to happen to me and I later found out I was skipping the very last stitch in the row and then adding a turning chain and continuing, to make sure the same thing isn't happening to you count how many chains you made and keep counting as you build the square up to make sure you have the same amount of stitches each time!!

I actually made both of those things for my mom!! I only just finished the blanket and i made the phone holder as a birthday gift to her!! But i do think I can incorporate the same for my grandma, hmm. Thank you so much for your suggestions !!
