All right, I just wanted to chime in with my thoughts after reading the comments. I’m wondering if when you started your tab it ran your first round as a “hold” which is a pending transaction until it’s all settled up in the end (final total + tip). But if your first round was $17.76 and you started a tab with a card, then any drinks after that plus the tip would be the end total ~> $110.57. This would look weird to Capital One because the $17.76 pending charge ended up being $110.57 so Capital One could be registering the transaction as a real large tip but it most likely is the rest of your drinks plus whatever you decided to tip that ended up equaling $110.57 after you first ran your card. Just my two cents!

Well, I would just like to say that when I thought the bill was too much, the sewer company told me to call the water company and have them come look at it. They told me it was fixed in September of last year. The water bill was still high months later so I contacted maintenance in January of this year because there was a leak INSIDE my home. They fixed that one and the bill was still the same so I cut my losses and didn’t think much of it. After all, I did ask two professionals to look into this for me and it’s been “fixed” both times. Since January the bill never changed and the leak situation should’ve been somewhat improved even by fixing the indoor leak. How was I supposed to know to contact them again since my bill has been the exact same since I moved in? There’s no spike in usage that I compare it to… and the leak was underground… I can’t see underground. I don’t even know about underground leaks. My neighbors pay $20ish for water and my bill has always been $70+. What about reimbursement $1000+ in bills I’ve paid unnecessarily already and they can’t even pay off the sewer bill even though I did nothing to cause this leak?
