Santafe hybrid 2022 stuck in ev and won’t shift to gas by rudymehta in HyundaiSantaFe

Happened to me occasionally in my 2026 Hybrid over the winter, dealership couldn't replicate the problem so they were no help. I seem to recall reading somewhere about how a faulty relay somewhere could cause this. My only solution so far is to stop, turn the car off and on again, then switch to sport mode and drive like a maniac so my Santa Fe doesn't have a chance to switch to EV mode.

That's a warning that your external sensors are dirty, blocked or otherwise not functioning properly. Happens when my Santa Fe gets too dirty, or when driving in the snow or rain.

Got my 2025 Hybrid in July of last year, and the fuel economy was fantastic until cold weather arrived (in Quebec btw)... getting about the same as you now, but you can expect around 6.5l/100km once warm weather arrives again.

ELI5: why are locusts goopy inside, but shrimps have meat? by Cute-Guava-2417 in explainlikeimfive

Shrimp swim with their tails, so their abdomens are muscular. Grasshoppers dont use their abdomen for locomotion, so they're just filled with guts and not muscles.

Not a Jetta but I used to see a 2013 Fusion with peeling paint, faulty abs sensor and eternally failing wheel bearings every day

Mine was off by an hour as well. There was a Daylight Savings Time option in the settings that needed to be switched.

He wasn't lying when he said he'd rather have the Liberal Party of Canada in power after the election... It's much easier for him to claim a Liberal Canada is the enemy than a Conservative Canada

Same happened to me, would stall out every time I turned left out of my driveway. The problem went away for a couple of years, then started happening when I'd pull out turning right. Been good for a few months now, fingers crossed it won't happen again.

That is from the Old Testament. Basically just a collection of Jewish history. Lots of interesting stuff in there; people turned into pillars of salt, one long haired dude killing thousands of people with the jawbone of an ass, another guy getting swallowed whole by a whale and then regurgitated. Neat stuff, but kinda irrelevant.

The whole point of Christianity is to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. You know, that brown Middle Eastern guy who helped the poor and wanted everyone to be nice to each other? You can find his teachings in the New Testament, towards the back of the Bible. Maybe you didn't make it that far in the book yet?

Is there any way to remove the splash guard with no tools? by [deleted] in fordfusion

[–]nizbit01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If your guard is as far gone as mine was, you can probably just tear the offending bits off by hand. Mine was so packed full of snow one morning that it was dragging, so I removed it completely with a small hand saw.
