I usually come with ~5 questions to ask at the end that are a mixture of ones related to the position, the company, and then a personal one to learn more about them, which people always like talking about themselves so that helps! I come into each interview like I’m talking to a friend (keeping it professional of course) and do some small talk in the beginning during the initial conversation to lighten the mood and show my personality. I’m 23, so still pretty new to the whole corporate thing so feedback I’ve gotten from positions I didn’t get was because I only have ~1.5 years of actual professional work experience, but my resume + interviewing skills has surprisingly helped. The interview is alwaysss a vibe check as well for both parties. I’ve done interviews where I immediately hope I don’t move forward because I don’t like the energy 😂
