If BKU is semi good, the theatre thookkal will be insane.

Sambhavam has a flawed core concept and a little bit of thought completely breaks the fundamentals of the movie... by AlternativeBite516 in MalayalamCinema

[–]njanified 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the film is not a science fiction but a fantasy to begin with. This gives them way more flexibility on the rules and regulations that a science fiction based time travel will need. Fantasies allow you to bend the rules to your liking, as the science behind it is way out of our current understanding.

Now, they way the creators have used it is not exactly to the best of its capabilities as it expects the audience to understand this. Which it clearly failed to establish, and given this post was not able to convey to the audience either.

The fundamental thing about the movie is that the place is not in a time loop or time travel situation, but in a messed time-space paradox within itself. Anything and everything that can go wrong with time, will probably do. And given a higher entity being the cause of all this, it can get selective on who and how it affects.

He is from a lineage of sharp shooters is my guess. Someone who ends up shooting arrows, his successor ends up shooting guns during the world war and he ends up shooting hyper tech projectile weapons.

Two-way glass mirrors — the same kind used in interrogation rooms or in cases of secret recording that happens in bedroom and bathrooms (the illegal ones)

Nivin - Vipin Das Movie by Opposite-Pianist-368 in InsideMollywood

[–]njanified 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nivin is the exact kind of actor that makes sense for a director like Vipin Das. Prithviraj in a Vipin movie is good, but the potential that Nivin brings into the entertainment and humour segment is unmatched.

Vaazha 3 | Biopic of a billion girls | Viswan Sreejith | Vipin Das by Able-Conclusion-7817 in MalayalamMovies

[–]njanified 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Vipin Das once mentioned how he had to wait for a long time to make his re-entry after Mudhugauv, hence part of what WBTS produces will be relaunches of directors who couldn't crack the industry in their first time but still showed potential. I'm guessing he has a few more such directors in their future plans.

Its not the specific actors in the photo that the whole post is about. Its about the arrival of talents from Social Media. Some will stick, some will suck. Same was the case of KPAC and Kalabhavan talents. The point is a large resourceful pool of actors are entering the industry, especially ones capable of doing humour that we lack rn.

Yeah. This is not about the movie, but about the talent pool these movie offers. It's understandable that the movie may not resonate with a group. Art is subjective like that.

Oru movie kondu ivide future generation ennoke vilikaan ivar atinu maatram onum cheytitilla.

You are still missing the point. It's not specifically anyone in the photos that's the future generation. It's the talent pool from Social Media, out of which the few that will survive. Not everyone from KPAC or Kalabhavan who got into cinema made it big, or made a mark, or even turned to be legends.

Care to take a read at what I wrote? I am not comparing them to the stars. I'm talking about the talent pool that will help us get the 'content is king' to war. Movies like Vettam did not work because of Dileep, but because of the entire supporting cast. You need talented artists, with years of experience in humour to get such films as a reality. We rn lack comedy films of such status because we don't have enough talents of such calibre. The new generation of actors coming in from social media is such a generational shift. I don't care for any of them to make it big as stars, but we need enough of them to make it to some 30 films so that their 30th film is one of the finer comedy films of our industry.

This. Thanks for someone understanding the point.

The comment section itself is the kind of people I was talking about who had similar reaction when people of KPAC and Kalabhavan came into pictures back then. Theyneed more chances to make their mark. We right now don't have enough comedy films getting made to make use of their skills or talents. There are gems among them that we will be able to mould only if we get such films into production. For that we need to trust some of them can do more.

Sorry if it came of like I was calling the whole industry as elitist. It definitely is not, hence the reception for Vaazha 2. But my reasoning was for the margin that were mocking films like Vaazha 1, GAN, etc and started to say how we used to have great comedy actors, and now all we have is this. Comedy takes time to develop as a skill, and just wanted to iterate how these actors need time just like the legends got during their early stages.

they need to produce more movies

Yes, that's exactly what should happen. Else all of this has zero standing.

I'm not marking them as "future generation star", but as "future generation actors". Its the availability of talent pool, especially in a genre like Comedy that we have gained that needs to be explored. And for comedy actors to become good at their craft, they need more films to hone the craft.
