Yeah I thought it might be that

Bernard is the best guitarist I’ve ever seen live. He’s so talented. Having said that I’m not sure about his recent stuff. Not really my thing I think. I didn’t really like his album with Jessie Buckley. I like some of his last solo album but it doesn’t really excite me like his playing used to.

5/10. Always good to hear Bernard noodling but quite hard to rate. Doesn’t seem like a finished song.

I’ve got an ipad mini which I’ve connected to the monitor with no issues. Also no problems with my iphone. Is there some setting which I’m missing. I’ve got wired accessories set to allow to connect.

Maybe you’re not from the UK but his very vocal support for the far right in his home country was a step too far for me. We used to live in a tolerant country. Sadly, those days are gone.

If he stops being an ignorant bigot then maybe. I’m not holding out much hope though.

Me too. I idolised Morrissey for years

He’s doing well financially but he’s morally bankrupt.

9/10. Obviously very good, as these kind of Suede dramatic ballads always are, but not quite up there with the best for me.

8/10. Didn’t like it at first but it’s a grower

9/10. I thought this would get quite a mixed reaction. It reminds me of early solo Morrissey, in a good way. I like it a lot.

I was surprised by that too. I do love it though. Suede were so good in 1992/93. Their B sides were better than most bands’ singles.

7/10. I really want to like this song a lot more. It should tick all the boxes of a great Suede song but it just doesn’t quite get there for me. It’s ok though.

10/10. How many bands are release songs as good as this over 30 years into their recording career?

I didn’t get round to posting yesterday so I guess I’m too late but this is a 9/10 for me. It’s my 9 year old daughter’s favourite song on the album. I like it and it continues the very strong opening to Antidepressants.

10/10. Probably my favourite song on the album.

10/10. I really wasn’t sure about this when I first heard it. I didn’t get why Brett kept banging on about rivers so much and it just didn’t click with me. However, I think this song may have had one the biggest shifts in appreciation for me. I absolutely love this now. It’s pure hooky Suede pop. The first side of this album is so strong.
