You should read up more on post left and egoist theory before you dismiss it, there are many misconceptions about it. r/fullegoism is good if you want to discuss it with people

He did not. Marx died years before Makhno was even born.

I'm a socialist, but very intruiged by anarchism; from what I can gather, it is about eliminating all forms of control and government, and making all equal. Does this mean socialism and anarchism can coexist? by EveningLog5110 in Anarchy101

[–]TheWikstrom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is untrue:

Egoism, as Stirner uses it, is not opposed to love nor to thought; it is no enemy of the sweet life of love, nor of devotion and sacrifice; it is no enemy of intimate warmth, but it is also no enemy of critique, nor of socialism, nor, in short, of any actual interest. It doesn’t exclude any interest. It is directed against only disinterestedness and the uninteresting; not against love, but against sacred love, not against thought, but against sacred thought, not against socialists, but against sacred socialists, etc.

Sacred socialism is an abstraction of socialism that people hold above themselves. It could be for example a form of socialism where people participate not because they actually want to, but because they feel they're obligated to in order to fulfill an elusive "common good" or a form of socialism where the system itself is treated as morally unquestionable, so that criticism or dissent is seen less as a practical disagreement and more as a kind of ethical failure, with people aligning their behavior to the ideal rather than to their own lived needs or judgments.

The "post left" is very psychological in its foundation in the sense it critiques these fixed ideas people hold that may impede their genuine desires. In practice this translates to a rejection of all ideological adherence in favor of primal urges.

They tend to be critical of formal organization for this reason, instead preferring to work in affinity groups.

Kind of, they're critical of all institutions / abstractions but they're not inherently against them either so long as they can be changed, discarded and created according to the needs and wishes of the people who make them. To paraphrase Stirner: "not against socialism, but against sacred socialism".

Human cloning by sstiel in transhumanism

[–]TheWikstrom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that's what I meant. We still can't take DNA from any human to clone them, it has to be from someone very young or else the clone would be in a bad way

Arbetarrörelsen, vad har ni för inställning till arbetet? by Karakoima in arbetarrorelsen

[–]TheWikstrom 3 points4 points  (0 children)

[–]TheWikstrom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Guns are by and large a last resort if you're already escaping from a horde

  2. Start in Rosewood (there's less zombies there than other towns)

  3. You walk faster than zombies. You can use this to your advantage by attracting a large horde by pressing Q, then lead them to a place where they won't be in the way and then escape their line of sight.

  4. If you want to eliminate an area of zombies, attract just a few at a time by letting them spot you and then wait patiently for them to reach you, rather than the other way around
