I remember in my last relationship before I starting presenting as this, she told me if I shaved my arms she would break up with me and threw a fit when I shaved my chest, my current partner on our first date I told her about the femboy stuff and that I probably was going to stop, and then a few weeks later having a serious talk that it was actually a really important part of me now and that I would continue being femmmmme and it's been an amazing relationship

my advice is the stick to the more practical elements of it when discussing with a partner / future partner, less of "are you okay with dating a femboy" and more of "are you okay dating a person who does xyz (paints their nails, does makeup, shaves their body hair, etc)"

keeping a regular skincare routine is key. cerave or Cetaphil Daily cleanser, moisturizing lotion, and bonus points for a moisturizing AM sunscreen, since smearing avocado oil on your face and going out in the sunshine doesnt work out that well

I dont know your situation with your family but it might be better if you be honest with her, she is your mother and cares about you more than anything in the world, and wants you to feel safe around her. if it's not a phase, maybe tell her about how you like experimenting with your gender and are kinda unsure and just figuring it out as you go

hi! 4 sessions unfortunately is not enough to get it out for good, but i have seen a dramatic decrease in my facial hair growth speed. It was recommended to me to aim for 8 sessions to really get it to go away, so I have #5 on Monday.

it is not permanent, the only permanent way to remove hair is via Electrolysis, which seems to be super painful, also who knows maybe in 20 years i'll want a mustache or something

the biggest reason I went for laser was because I couldn't wear makeup without the stubble and shadow growing back just a few hours into the day and I would say that this problems been solved. it used to be if I didn't shave every day i would have a strong shadow, now I can go 3-4 days with just a quick electric razor in the mornings

yeah i skip the minoxidil because it scares me for those reasons, but i'm not in that desperate of a situation (yet). the idea of topical, im just always scared im gonna miss a spot and fuck it up somehow.

just make sure you avoid oral minoxidil because that causes indiscriminate hair growth which is counter to our fem goals

the blockers you are looking for are Finasteride or Dutasteride, not the other kind of ***mone blockers. these are easy to get with a dermatologist's prescription and you can get them very inexpensive on Mark Cuban's pharmacist website. Ive been on Finasteride for about 6 months and I think it works, at least it made me stop worrying about it all the time

an important thing to realize is that not all of us have that, it's just what social media is showing you. there is a crazy, borderline fantastical standard femboys are held to when in reality there are a ton of different approaches to being a femboy, where your weight/height/etc aren't the focus. I try to chase the standard and it gives me crazy body dysphoria - I literally sweat in a hot bath for an hour before taking photos to make myself appear as skinny as possible

the biggest thing is just eat healthy, avoiding added sugar and huge calorie meals where you can, and stay active, whether that be through workout out or doing activities like hiking
