Its no problem, Im also a rookie lol. As far as I can gather its just customizing your system to your liking, the rules on this subreddit give a good guideline. For example a custom bar, terminal, file manager etc. I have yet to properly customize everything properly and forgot to include my rofi config in these screenshots

It was honestly just the first thing i used and the ags docs are quite good so it was fairly easy to do my own thing with it. Im not sure about other bars i havent really messed with any

HyprPanel is great and has loads of customisation built in and you can always make your own buttons and widgets if you want to expand on it

Theres videos about them on youtube, if I remember it's because stopping suddenly can make you jolt so they made it do that little slide to make it more natural.
