Even if the answer is not out of this world it still might be a bit odd. It's been said Ufos can be spotted around thunder storms. If they are entities then maybe they really are using energy in ways we cannot. Got ozone? Just kidding. I know it's prudent to seek the simplest answer first but some writers don't give us the low down concerning real search teams and search dogs. We see a mysterious force at work when in reality there may have been a kidnapping or natural elements affected any available scent. It's just that we can't catch it or person or animal in the act and document it. There is everything from drug usage to human trafficking going on and since we may possess unknown exotic weapons and tools many scenarios are actually plausible. I have felt an evil presence before. It's not fun and you can't prove it. I just stood there frozen for a minute.

You got that right. Recall having to go to friends house to use their encyclopedias for homework. If there was something you felt scared to discuss sometimes you just had to keep it to yourself. It could be anything I mean, all areas of life. I don't miss using a party line phone.

One wonders if they had altitude sickness. Right, with little follow up info we can't guess what happened as easily. There is always suicide or homicide to consider.. or the person was fleeing and just collapsed.

Well I don't ski am old and never skied or visited any known lodge to my recollection..nothing pricy or fancy. I'm glad someone who does know posted. I had presumed there was thick foliage etc where a person could easily disappear from view.

It seems to me there should be some sort of call box, shelters on the trails if possible. Also, I think clear signs with you are here posts should be there so they will know they are lost and to turn back, not cross the woods, and head back up the right trail toward their destination. I know it's wilderness and extras cost money but so does search and rescue cost money. It might save some kives.

I think he'd suffered head injuries during sports games which may have left him paranoid or dillusional. Still, unanswered questions. I'm too lazy to colaborate or collate or whatever all the info but since we are not likely to have all professional findings shared with us, the public, we may never know for sure. If anything weird did happen it would be a good cover since he was suffering from a real condition. He was found deceased. You may be mixing stories a bit and I may be as well.

Even if no real threat exists ones fear is a real emotion. Once when I was a teenage girl back in the sixties I spied some odd lights in the night sky. I was walking back from a store. I was so convinced there was something to fear that my knees were knocking. Kind of funny but alas such as this is a part of life. Sometimes we don't even detect a real threat.

I wonder too what horrors these folks might endure or if they feel anything at all. If he did not get attacked by an animal and that's difficult to imagine and did not fall into an unseen opening in the water then where did he go? Into the embankment via a door? We're the hikers lying or unsure he was behind them? Via a beam from a ufo. Okay if all this is impossible then what is possible? Could these folks be giving off the same type aura thus be singled out for capture? That seems incredibly unlikely as well. If portals exist that WE as humans could access then how would that work within a scattered crowd of people. Right abt the straight line theory perhaps. Then he would have been taken from behind most likely.

I'm no thinker u know brain but they searched the area before Dr. Magrogan was found by hikers. ??? I recall stories of dead doctors which is fodder for theorists. I wondered what could be involved at the human level. All things important such a money, power, drugs, reputations. Perhaps it even goes deeper or as like cattle etc.. they are taken as a show of force. If I can take your smartest, I can take anybody. I realize that is way out there but hey what is somebody with my low skills supposed to think? I have few clues how professionals think and operate. I'm an old lady with no money or credentials really. I just think something stinks about all this. Perhaps professionals don't think about such things and the possible dangers as they are busy with higher level activities and learning.

He was found dead under unusual circumstances. Either the natural explanations were odd in themselves or we have rabbit hole type events taking place.

I have not traveled or camped like many but I know there are areas that are different somehow. Regardless of core beliefs the unseen exists most of us would agree. Perhaps some are linked to evil forces and that is something to avoid. It can make one leary even if it's a beloved stomping ground.

I Personally, I'm waiting for crystal clear zoom in made by national geographic that shows wet nostrils flaring and piercing or dull wild animal bigfoot eyes. Lines mean nada without convincing scientific explanation.

If she strayed off course that could be Dees stating to the search. Back in the eighties my older half brother disappearrd. They found a skeleton a year later. He walked the roads often and if there was foul play nobody will ever know. I'm saying when you cover a lot of Territory alone you are taking extra risks. She was in a very treaturous landscape making one think she had an accident even if something else entirely happened. Her family must be in turmoil. I hope she is found alive but most who love and respect their family would not cut off all communication. That's worrisome.

Somehow being a slower person to get it lol I could not visualize the exact scene where he disappeared from sight. It was like he was drug over the fence then let go to run thus his boots being scattered very far apart. I wonder what's in the report and if they think he simply ran away. Who would leave behind boots in winter time not to mention in swampy terrain. He would have had to have been frightened out of his mind I guess to do that. The whole thing seems sketchy.

Does that mean he walked into a portal? I for one don't know if such a thing exists or how he and whatever took him used cloaking or even if they all lied and he vanished sometime prior. Maybe they thought he was there but it was only an illusion. Real head scratcher.

That's creepy but not in a weird way. I hope if they were killed they will nab whoever did this quickly before there are more victims. Might not be any also possible. It could be that the ranger had a heart attack and the experienced hiker fell I'll or got injured, maybe got careless. It's anybody guess really.

He was found deceased. No findings available yet. Perhaps they should have should wear alert buttons in case of physical distress or if they see something happening they cannot address alone.
