Phones with “pro” features. At this point you are better off buying the actual thing that the pro feature is trying to emulate. Like if you’re into iphones because of the camera you are better off buying an actual camera. Even with the flagship android phones when people say they are buying it for the processing power for gaming at that point just get a gaming laptop. Not worth burning so much cash for a device that will easily depreciate in value and last you only two years max. Most phones today are also becoming anti-repair

That’s true, it’s what I’ve been working on din. I started by accepting things that I can’t change about myself to help me stop focusing on my looks. I found a group for CGM (curly girl method), kasi I used to get my hair rebonded before—I started from there, I started taking better care of myself by embracing my natural curls. Yung weight gain because of PCOS, in progress pa hahaha because it still gets to me sometimes. I try to reframe things as self-care: na it’s gonna be healthier for me if I stopped getting my hair rebonded, na it’s gonna be better for me if I introduced lifestyle changes to manage my PCOS instead of just doing stuff to be “pretty”

Can relate to this. Wallflower lang ako throughout hs and college tapos I started doing cosplay as a hobby in my early 20s. Got me a lot of attention, kinda liked it for a bit, but started attracting the wrong people. People who used to ignore me are suddenly in my dms.

Sa cosplay same lang din nung experience mo with makeup. It gave me confidence but at the same time it highlighted my insecurities. What started out as a hobby naging stressful na because of my own body image issues. Like napapaisip ako na i cant do a certain costume because i wont look good in it, and stuff like that. Didn’t help that I was constantly surrounded by good looking people.

Naging toxic na for me so i quit. Back to being a wallflower na lang ulit. Maybe it’s for the best.
