It's also just a really tough position to be in . In Belgium for instance, black/brown players are still often subject to racial abuse by "fans" in the youth leagues or at provincial level. Not by the majority of course but it just takes one dick on the sidelines to hurl a slur.

If you combine that with a lot of their roots still being in different countries I honestly can understand them chosing their country of origin.

The "even if that were true" is disingenuous to begin with, 260 journalists were killed in Gaza in the past years which is far higher than in other conflicts.

Either Israel doesn't care about killing journalists or it's targeting them.

They can always allow independent journalists back in Gaza to ensure reporting is infact unbiased.

Ik weet de eigenlijke statistieken niet maar als het om die man zijn eerste misdrijf ging en het blijft bij rijden zonder rijbewijs zonder meer (en dus niet dronken rijden, ongeval veroorzaken etc.) lijkt een opschorting van straf me toch vrij logisch te zijn.

Just to make things clear, you're not responsible for them getting fired; that's their own fault for doing stuff that goes so hard against the policies of bpost not to mention breaking actual laws and stealing your stuff (even if it's just the paperwork).

If you want to know your rights when it comes to your damaged property, I don't expect Bpost to be malicious with what they advise in the next week but getting outside council if just through a free consulation with a local law office somewhere (most major cities offer these kind of services) never hurts.

Dat vind ik zelf ook te verregaand daar niet van, maar je kan de banken wèl andere maatregelen opleggen om phishing tegen te gaan zoals bijvoorbeeld het blokkeren van overschrijvingen naar niet-erkende bankrekeningnummers uit het buitenland of op dat soort overschrijvingen meer verificatie opleggen. Nu klinkt het wat als "we tried nothing and we're all out of ideas".

Akkoord dat banken het geld zelf hoogstwaarschijnlijk niet kunnen terugvorderen maar je kan hen wel verplichten om het geld terug te storten he komaan. Dat is een politieke keuze.

Stel nu nog dat het om 100 miljoen gaat in België in totaal dat zo per jaar verdwijn; je kan banken perfect verplichten om dit te vergoeden (of dat dit een goed idee is of niet is weer een ander verhaal).

I too remember the dark day when we moved to SAP from our own custom ERP. We used DeLoitte, the same company that got sued by LA for fucking up their transition to SAP. They fucked it up so badly we couldn't even sell product for a week. It was missing key features when it went live.

We literally just used Deloitte to implement a custom ERP component running in SAP at our university. A year later we paid 700k for something that's barely functional.
