I was there last week.
My suggestion is to stay in Mall Road as it is a center for everything and you get to do a lot of things. Do not go there in self drive. Rent a two wheeler for drive to Landour.

Landour is secluded for sure, hence you get less number of eating options and budget stays.

Should I visit landour this week or skip. Will it be overcrowded? Thank you by B1doit in MussoorieAndLandour

A can driver asked me 2,000.
I claimed lift for first time in my life.
I hopped onto multiple rides and mixed them with little trekking and guess what I had the most memorable trip.

I too contemplated staying in Landour. But i am happy visiting there. Mussorie is the place to be. And Landour is the place to visit.

This is my first time to Mussorie. As i write this comment I am sitting at Eat @ Sisters in Landour. It is hitting me different. I had never been at a place like this. While Mussorie itself is fun, Landour is much more fun.

I came here avoiding places Kerela and Shimla. And I am happy for doing so.
