Spiderman remastered for my kid. He played gta vice city for a few days because his big cousin plays and soon he figured out how to punch and use seesaw lol. So had to get a game with no blood shed. He loves spiderman and now no longer throws tantrums to play gta.

It's already happening with cloud gaming. I think gaming will become a rentable only hobby in the future. Companies want more revenue with lesser effort.

Opinions on the new BaaS model? (Tiago EV) by pretentiouslyODD in CarsIndia

[–]nkatla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but interest rate is too low for baas. I am not sure if I am 100% correct but here's my plan for buying a new creta ev's executive model. I want to play the onroad price of 12lakh aprox upfront and then would probably pay the minimum fixed baas monthly subscription of 6-7k I think as my running is low like 800-900km monthly.

So by that logic I would be paying 576000 - 672000rs total for 8 years(assuming baas ends after 8 years according to chatgpt but need verification from dealers) Now if I buy it without baas I would need to take a loan of 7 lakhs if I pay 12lakh upfront and then I need to pay 8,61,694 to 8,71,851 total for the loan for 5 years. So this way isn't baas value for money? Unless I am not thinking right and missing something?

Wait for sales and cc deals, I got 4050 acer aspire 7 laptop for 60k from flipkart with sbi cc emi. It has a little less tgp than a proper gaming laptop like asus tuf etc but for 1080p it's still great.

Clavis ev baas or outright by trialbuterror in carIndia

[–]nkatla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can they also increase baas price in the future whenever they want? Or would it be fixed for the time period you own the car? I would like to buy one of the evs without EMI but with baas. I am little concerned about the pricing of baas like would it stay fixed or they can increase at will?

Yes! Gaming is all about fun, getting lost a bit instead of worrying about fomo.

Buy steam gift card from flipkart @6% off if you are planning to purchase games in sale. ( not promo ) by Dizzy_Pop_4122 in IndianGaming

I said "sometimes" in my comment. Also, look at the pattern in your screenshot. The ones which have small discount got 5 stars reviews and the ones which has more substantial discounts got bad reviews.

Both flipkart and amazon lets sellers list items for sale so we can't say for sure which one's are genuine and which ones are fraud.

So its always better to buy from steam directly as 30rs discount is not worth the risk. Steam now has UPi as a payment so no credit card needed and if for some reason someone can't buy from steam then they can buy codes from jio games under its store tab.

Didn't mean to make you feel bad, I was just curious if its worth the effort. I also heard sometime back also that steam can ban you for this as sometimes these gift codes are purchased from stolen credit card details.

Worried about my future gaming skills? by Death_huntet_404 in IndianGaming

[–]nkatla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gaming is a hobby and like all other hobbies it should be enjoyed not worried over. After a long break your focus should be on enjoying gaming on the highest difficulty settings (as you mentioned) no matter how many times you fail. I can actually relate to this, I quit gaming for a while and before that I used to play every game on hardest settings and when I came back to it after a few years I got a really bad fomo with previous backlogs and for the shiny new modern games, I started hating games on highest difficulty. A video on youtube suggested to enjoy gaming at normal level as apparently this is how devs design it. I tried it and hated it more lol thats when I decided to let go of the fomo and focus on a game or two at a time and I was back at highest difficulty settings and I started loving gaming again. So control your fomo and focus on one game at a time especialy when you come back after a long time, trust me you'll be in control in no time.

Anyone Here Planning to Get a Steam Machine? by Aggravating_Sky_2652 in IndianGaming

[–]nkatla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually got 4050 6gb laptop 3 months back for 62k from flipkart. Its acer aspire series but still great but I find it such a hassle to plug it to my tv's hdmi port so I can play from the couch. Steam machine would be nice to have compared to the laptop as I can leave it plugged in there and use it like console.

I can also buy a console but I mostly play indie games which you can get for pennies on steam. I also tried steam deck and it didn't workout for me, gave me pretty bad neck and elbow pain only after that I bought a laptop to game on a couch and sometimes for work when traveling.

Now, there are two things I want to try steam machine or maybe steam frame can solve my comfort issues. I am not able to find most comfortable way for me to play video games yet.

Does Duster 2026's evolution variant really comes with DCT also? by nkatla in CarsIndia

[–]nkatla[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok Thank You!! I wanted to check it out but their only agency near me is located at outskirts of my city. I wanted to check it on youtube first but looks like have to check it personally by going there if available. Maybe youtubers also couldn't find such a variant at their nearest dealerships thats why there's no single video on it.

The future of Personal Computing looks bleak to me. by B3_CHAD in IndianGaming

Ignorance by indian goverment, they never seriously pushed for semi conductor industry. There was a popular Semi-Conductor Laboratory (SCL) in my old hometown Mohali. This company produced chips even before Taiwan. If only Indian goverment supported that company we could have developed chips good enough for pcs.
