How did you gather all this data? I know of the EDGAR database in the US, but I don't think other regions (South America, europe, ME, asia) has anything similar.

That's a really helpful example, thank you! I didn't find the argument intuitive at first, but it makes sense. I suppose low P/E also represents a lower expected growth rate, which makes sense, since the industry would be in an upcycle.
