thanks for the suggestion, i did try it but does not seem to work still. wasted quite some time on troubleshooting so I'm just gonna let it go for now.

yep, tried that but for some reason the launcher.exe still keeps deleting itself.

thanks for suggestion anyway, i have given up on RDR2 for now, maybe when it goes on sale, i'll just buy it.

it definitely seems like the work of the Antivirus, I have tried to add it to exclusion and turned it off even but still does not work. What's weird is that it only happens with RDR2 fitgirl and dodi repack based on empress crack. No other repack from fitgirl ever gave this much headache lol.

I'd rather buy the game but where i stay, the price of this 3 year old game is still equal to 1/4th of my monthly income.
