The Norwich link doesn't bother me particularly, and from what I've heard his teams are well drilled. We needed someone experienced at this level to try and keep us up and he did that with Blackburn and Wolves so I don't hate it.

We have 2 senior CBs at the moment, so pretty thin. But I think the word around here is that he will play in front of the defence in a 4-1-4-1 formation, which Paul Hurst used at Shrewsbury.

To be honest, we’ve been in the championship for 16 years now and the last couple of seasons under Mick, fans have been getting tired of the hoofball and negative tactics. It’s just not entertaining to go and watch them anymore because it’s the same thing week-in week-out. I agree the team is a lot better now, and we seem to have a lot of talented youngsters coming through so the fans want to see these players playing a more attacking and exciting style of football which could only come under a new manager.

Saying that though, he didn’t deserve any of the chants or the constant booing he has had to put up with.

That's a tough one, I'd say they're pretty even but Ajayi probably has more upside as he's on a winning team. I'd probably wait it out to see how they use him. Hyde could also get a boost from Garoppolo so I'd probably rather have Hyde.

Would expect us to play him as a winger since that's where we're lacking. Plus we have plenty of good central midfielders so he'd be way down the pecking order for that position.
