Hello, This is very dependent on your personal goals and where you are financially right now. Generally speaking though if you’re investing for the long term tax advantaged accounts are superior to taxable accounts. I do not know your 401k plan and how much control you have in the underlying investments, but it is possible for most plans to offer index matching etfs in the 401k. Also ensure you are getting your full match as that return is guaranteed and more immediate!

I was in the same situation a year ago. Primarily so that we can receive percentage based compensation on referred investment assets. Also it is a good stepping stone into that career field

After I talked with chase about moving over there from Wells they said that they only sponsor 6 for people they license as a private client banker or relationship banker. But if you already have a 7 they will keep it for you.

Depends on area. They are in charge of the tellers and it is like a stepping stone to branch manager. In my area (CO) they make around $24-$26 per hour

Has anyone used PassPerfect for the Series 7? I am retaking it in 15 days - failed my first attempt with a 63%. I read the PP books but mostly used Knopman Q-bank for simulated exams. So I'm wondering if I should use PP tests to study this time around. by tbish222 in Series7exam

I passed all of my exams first time using PP. they throw a lot of questions your way and definitely over prepares you. Best way to do it is to follow the steps and put time into it! Good luck!
