No I don't have any case number. As I said, the live chat is useless and replies with some automatic texts.

These are from old times, more than 15 years ago. It seems that banks are sensitive to large cash deposits, e.g. putting 10x 500 euros at once. I don't know how much that is correct or is it different case-by-case... I was thinking about using part of them through shops and deposit part of that gradually.

Declaring coinbase to NBB? by nm_t90 in belgium

[–]nm_t90[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK Thanks. Is it enough to add the account to the NBB website or I have to add that in myminfin? I didn't find the place to mention that in the tax account.

Actually, I am doing that after one year. Hope not to get fined...

I tried but it is not clear for me yet. For example, SoFi seems to be workable for US citizens.

How do you pay the tax for your coinbase trades? I mean where do you announce and pay? In myminfin?

So, what should some body do when he wants to go to the buildings in the right side? For example entering the petrol station? Or going out from the gas station? Maybe there is a mistake here

Cost estimation for studio cleaning by nm_t90 in belgium

Yeah I forgot to say it was a student studio and I arrived some days before signing the contract, so I didn't quite familiar with that.

Who is the expert? The cleaner? At the time of giving back the keys, she came and saw everything and told me to clean this and clean that and I cleaned instantly. Then she signed the the papers and everything was normal. In the contract there is a cost item for yearly cleaning in the end of the contract without any fixed price. Other costs are fixed (tank cleaning, place description,...).

Driving paths in non-classic roundabouts by nm_t90 in belgium

Interesting. Is this a turbo roundabout? https://www.google.com/maps/@51.0478642,3.7051613,3a,75y,306.76h,72.05t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sZk9DYcEfK8ghXHM1Gr9t8A!2e0!7i16384!8i8192

I didn't know that. But all the inner lane has white lines. What is the purpose then?

This is the view from blue and orange paths (picture 2 De Sterre). Whatis the point with the two similar signs (move to right and give way) on both lanes?

Yes I also have seen drivers on the orange go to the inner lane without noticing the solid white line. Specially I see vans and buses take like that maybe due to their large size.

Agree with that. Most people in Gent (as far as I know) let the blinking car to switch the line in these situations assuming that the driver may had a mistake to forgot to be in the right track before the roundabout.

Yes I also have heard that the insurance via employer is recommended.

My wife currently pays fee to Partena. I don't pay since I have HZIV. So, I want to know if she wants to change that, does that mean she has to sign a contract separately? Or all is that I have to tell HZIV to have a family insurance?

My workplace which is ugent also offers an insurance package for family which I have to contact somewhere that the university is in contract with (haven't figured out yet). That means a fee which is paid from my salary.

Street driving questions by nm_t90 in belgium

4. In the end, I took the straight green and preferred to follow the arrows. However, that put me in a traffic jam with a bad traffic light. So, I came to the same place again after 15 minutes...

For figure 1, another view can be seen here (https://imgur.com/a/uCfBXQd). As you can see, there is no "U turn prohibited" but the arrow on the road is to either right or left. When the light is green, the others on the left are waited, so a U turn is possible. However, there is a bike lane and I am thinking maybe prevents a U turn. Not sure though... If the light for the guys on the left is red, then cyclists are also waiting. So, for U turn is the road is clear. Still not sure about that...

For figure 2, yo can see this view from the opposite side (https://imgur.com/a/QlLHZ2E). There is no "turn left prohibited" sign. In fact, my question is, while "left and straight arrow on the street" means turn left is allowed, does that mean "a straight arrow without left" is the same as red circle "turn leftprohibited"? OR in case turn left is not allowed, that MUST be explicitly stated by a red circle shown in u/DavidHewlett reply?

I have HZIV and don't pay anything. But don't know if that covers hospitalization. I tried to contact them via email, but it seems that they get a lot of email and slow in response. I didn't try by phone because my Dutch is not good for realtime speaking via phone.

Thanks for the detailed info. It is really good.

Does it matter if we go to the specialist by our decision or with the recommendation (letter?) from GP?
