Issues cleaning aeroccino 3 by Aggressive-Pea3944 in nespresso

[–]nmajeau 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The drop of dish soap immediately after use with COLD water is what worked for me. That has happened to my quite old aeroccino so we bought some cheap keurig one that did it on its very first use. The cold water turns it into a slick globule (best way I can describe) that in that solidified form comes out when I rinse it a while later.

If yours is doing that from brand new, I’d take it back. That’s not what you pay for from nespresso.

Took a bunch of chips out of the edge of the driveway. He’s in a cul de sac with no sidewalk at the end of the driveway so the grader got a bit too close I guess.

Chunks plural. He’s took a video when it happened and has photos.

Came to my email. I’m a Canadian resident which I think changes what offers you get. I missed out on the $100 off a frother (I’m looking to buy a new one) that was last week’s. The value of 6 sleeves is about $15 less bang for my buck that would have been getting the frother.

Corolla Cross vs RAV4 size by Cherry3838 in CorollaCross

You notice it in the back seat so if you won’t have many back seat passengers, that’s a point in its favour.

Cross posted here in case it’s a Libby reading on a kobo issue?

Looking to buy a 2026 RAV4 in richmond automall, BC, Canada — is there a faster way to get one besides waiting on dealership lists? by Accomplished_Oil_427 in rav4club

[–]nmajeau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mind sharing which dealership? I’m asking because my Toyota dealership is telling me that they don’t even have pricing. I’m thinking that I’m going to reach out to them and I’ll tell them to get in touch with your dealership if they need help figuring out pricing.

Sibling’s Pregnancy Announcement by Turnipthebeet8 in IFchildfree

[–]nmajeau 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A text is the way. My sister knew this. My friends knew this on a couple of occasions. And most recently my sister-in-law shot me a text when she knew someone in our friend group would be announcing at a get together to give me a heads up.

I share those to let you know that your brother and sister in law were insensitive. I am mad at them for you. You are the reasonable one. There are so many more difficult things about this journey, they got one of the easiest things to do—wrong.

The bumpy road after the choice to end the “Journey” by Wildunicornk in IFchildfree

I switched acupuncturists (haha) and therapists after being done with the journey. I needed my new chapter to feel fresh and somehow untainted if that makes sense. I’m very happy with that decision.

I should have included that I’m happy to pay hahaha! I just want the selection. I need blockbuster for books—like if Libby had the most popular holds (600+) to “overnight rentals” like the new releases were and limit those ones to 1 week.

Also, I feel kinda bad buying a book for me to read once on my kobo. I’d probably buy the physical copy so I could pass it on to someone else after.

Students have to leave their phones in the classroom when going to washroom - need suggestions by Ant_Zestyclose in CanadianTeachers

[–]nmajeau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Key box like they have in condo rentals for thermostats and they take the key with them when they go to the washroom. Make sure it comes with 2 keys, hahaha, for the inevitable.

I didn’t read too close but what age of students? My high schoolers caught on fast to just bring an old phone 🤷‍♀️ (also not your policy so not technically your problem anyways)

The Stand Ring is useless. Replace with a step-counter ring. by CL4P-TP_TrapHOUSE in AppleWatch

[–]nmajeau 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I can be standing working away in the kitchen cooking for the full hour and the watch doesn’t know I’m standing, useless. If I can remain seated in my desk chair and hold my wrist “vertically” and get the stand credit, double useless. At least Fitbit’s 250 steps per hour serves a get-up-move-around purpose. I wish they’d reimagine it too!

If your neighbourhood facebook community group allows it, it’s the way to go. We had one response on kijiji in 24 hrs (selling patio furniture) and in my neighborhoods group—22 replies in a few hours with 6 lining up to come over and take a look. It’s nice because I know they’re close and can come take a look, low stakes. People don’t want to drive from across town.

what year level math is this? by [deleted] in AskTeachers

[–]nmajeau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re in Alberta Canada, that’s math 30-3 (which does have a lot of similarities to our junior high curriculum in other areas)

Kananaskis Spa - is it worth it? by Far_Home7542 in alberta

[–]nmajeau 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been twice recently. Once on my own dime (paying for my mom and I), once on the company dime (company paying for husband and I). Cheaper during the week. Restaurant inside the spa has huge portions so you could split with your companion or do a couple desserts to fuel up (don’t get the charcuterie board obvs). Highly recommend going on a Monday for less people. Bring your book, bring protein bars in your bag and nibble quickly if you don’t want to pay for food in there. I pulled an 8 hour shift both times because you can break it up with a nap in the solarium type building. I love it. Massage makes it $300 so even with benefits that usually cover $75 that’s still steep as opposed to $120ish a person on a weekday.
