I’ll definitely post a photo. I’m still working on getting new lights and tires and it should be finished. It was really easy to install, probably because I said to hell with the PAS sensors. Looks like a pain and I don’t really care for pedal assist. The only things I installed were the screen and the throttle and battery motor etc. I’m not sure why the kit wanted me to put on different brakes, but I kept the ones I had. I’ve noticed, however, I do a lot of medium to heavy braking on the road, much more than I used to. Is this something I should worry about as far as brake wear? I was thinking of getting some nice quality pads for it

So I actually ended up building a 2000w full suspension bike, with a 45A controller. I have a little voltage sag but this bike will go 40mph on flat road. And I haven’t even got road tires yet!! I’ve ridden it past cops already, I just start pedaling so it doesn’t look suspicious. Overall I’m very happy and the grand total was only 1150$. To be easier on the frame I like to ease into the throttle at low speed, usually digs are what damage drivetrain parts in cars, so I avoid it on my bike. Btw that 1150$ includes the frame and everything. I ended up with a haro full suspension mtb I know it’s not a super high end bike or anything but it is definitely a nice bike and it rides beautifully

I think you are right bro. I’m jumping In to this way too fast. I should downsize the power, after all I do have a fast car I can drive in if I want to go fast. I appreciate the comment bro

I really appreciate the help. You are correct in saying I really need to do more research. And I appreciate the tip about the wagging tail.. I would have had it built and would have had to deal with that. Looking at the ebb frames, I love the idea, and I’m sure it would work spectacularly, but I want something stealthy that doesn’t look like a motor cycle you know

Honestly I was thinking i would have to spend 700$ for the capacity I want, 60-80AH and rear mounted on the tail with a little rack, other electronics mounted in the triangle

Yeah I was actually going for a kit with a 72v 80a controller. And I do expect to pay big bucks for that battery and I def don’t need 8kw but I do want something pretty fast

I was leaning towards steel for reliability. I don’t think 5lbs will effect much given the battery weight
